It might be in the middle of the Midwest but pleasantly-sized Lincoln has museums of merit, historic sights and is but a short trip away from parks, wildlife and Homestead National Monument.
This pond was created by impounding Basin Brook. The pond holds many small wild brook trout, but supplemental plants of yearling brook trout are made annually. A boat can be launched on the southeast corner of the pond. Camping is available at the Basin Campground.
