Original Shaker buildings, tradional Shaker furnishings and other domestic trappings help set the scene at the Canterbury Shaker Village, a site that provides visitors with a glimpse of Shaker life. Peaceful forests, fields and gardens span nearly 700 acres of surrounding land, perfect for a leisurely hike in summer between craft exhibitions and exhibit-going. Guided tours and other educational programs are available in season.
