Description
An easy, well-marked, loop trail leads to the "Imp Profile which is visible from Rt.16 and Dolly Copp Campground. Excellent views of the Presidential Range are available from the rocky "face. Start the hike opposite the Dolly Copp Picnic Area on Rt. 16, following the Imp Trail signs ascend to the profile (2.2mi. – 2 hr.). Continue another 0.9 miles to the North Carter Trail junction and another 2.3 miles back to Rt. 16, about 0.2 miles south of the starting point.
